Junior Product Marketing & PR Account Manager for Xbox & console

Function & Responsibilities: 
 
We are looking for services to be executed within the Xbox marketing team in the following areas: product management consoles, games and accessories: Production forecasting, Product messaging, product competitive positioning, Product advocacy, Product support escalation, Product retail presentations and channel/marcom support post mortem, Channel/Marcom lead support analysis and budgetary follow up

• Implementation of the marketing plan: translation of the marketing strategy into actionable product plans and implementation of the plan, in collaboration with channel marketing
• Business management: tracking of the business from forecasting/allocation to instore execution and results, and the search for corrective measures together with Xbox lead to continuously improve these results
• Production forecasting: forecasting of production units in accordance with subsidiary objectives and the current state of the market
• Product messaging and advocacy: articulation of the product's value proposition through messaging and positioning presentations and demos to key influential, customers and partners to ensure positive customer feedback.
• Competitive review: tracking and reporting of marketing and trade marketing activities by the competition
• Product support escalation: escalation of any consumer or partner complaint that is not solved with 100% satisfied result to the EMEA support team for a 100% solution
• Support Channel/Marcom Post mortem analysis and budgetary follow up: evaluation of product plans and adjustments within budget restrictions
• Assets management: management, downloading, uploading and sharing of all relevant Xbox assets for consumer and PR usage.
• Community management: leading of the Xbox community (ambassadors) in close cooperation with PR and communication strategy. Development and further increase of the reach of our user base via communicating with target audience.
• Internal messaging: updating of on product details (SKUs, EANs, street dates, etc)
• Management of debug process: assistance in technical tasks such as programming and updating of consoles and debug consoles for either press/3rd party/events.
• 3rd party relations: keeping contact with third parties to maximize opportunities and possibilities to strengthen the platform and other services.
• Support Channel/PR/Marcom: optimization and organization of events, connections with possible brand ambassadors and community members, setting up of the ambassadors list. Organization of events with specialized information during events.

 
 
Profile:

• You are have a master's degree in marketing, Economics (micro/macro), or business managment (Msc)
• You possess an initial experience in the marketing strategic management field or in the IT/ mobile products industry (2+ years) (project management)
• You possess a deep active knowledge of Dutch & Eng OR French & English (written and spoken)
• You have demonstrated analytical success with budget management, or are not afraid to learn this
• You are passionate about Xbox and the gaming world, or are willing to become an expert in the product field
• Knowledge of current electronic authoring, document management and publishing tools and technology, as well as understanding national/international marketing regulations (local/global)
