For our corporate IS division, we’re looking for a Young Graduate Infrastructure solutions consultant.
As Young Graduate Infrastructure Solutions Consultant, you will be part of the infrastructure solutions team who is in charge for the design and roll-out of infrastructure solutions (server, storage, network infrastructure, security, telephone..). This for the offices as well as the production environment of UNILIN. The team supports more than 30 remote sites in an international context.
The core tasks in this role consist of the management and support of all backend infrastructure components within the Flooring ROW organization (1000+ servers). This can be split up in three major parts:
In this role, you’ll be working in a team of infrastructure specialists, each specialized in their own area but with a good knowledge of other member’s tasks. In time, you will be an expert in your area of expertise and as such, will be able to work on your own as well as with other team members when required.
In order to keep your knowledge up to date, a training plan will be made and necessary courses will be foreseen.
For some projects (those with a global impact), you’ll be working together with foreign colleagues, this might include an occasional travel.
This role reports to the “IS Infrastructure Solutions Team Manager”.
Some technologies we use are the following: Microsoft Windows operating systems 2012/2016/2019; Active Directory and Azure AD; O365 (Exchange Online, OneDrive,…); Server hardware technology (Cisco UCS B- and C-series, HPE ProLiant series); Monitoring tools (Cisco InterSight, Solarwinds, Splunk,…), Different storage technologies (DAS, NAS, SAN, Storage Virtualization), mainly IBM/Lenovo V3700, V5000, V7000, SVC and Brocade SAN switching; Veeam backup software combined with Data Domain backup targets ; Virtualization (Vsphere 6.5 and higher; Citrix; Infoblox (DNS and DHCP appliances in a global grid setup)
