For one of our customers, an international company located in the Ghent area, we are looking for a Junior Java Software Architect. In this role, you will be joining a team that is responsible for the development & support of a centrally deployed application. This application is tracking products from ordering until customer handover. The system is developed & maintained by this team.
Your key responsibilities:
- You design new micro services and cloud-based architecture, new front ends for a mobile environment and new services on IoT Thingworx platform
- You take responsibility for designing a robust and easy maintainable system
- You work according to Scrum methodology and Devops
- You create technical analyses with mockups for new requirements
- You actively suggest improvements and take ownership.
- You support with the installation of new versions and join technical user support
- You can also jooin international projects
Profiel
- You have a master degree in IT. You are a starter with up to 3 years of development experience
- You have a strong knowledge of Java
- You have a good knowlegde of both Dutch and English.
- Knowledge of Java frameworks: SpringBoot, SpringData JPA2, ORM Hibernate, QueryDSL
- Experience with experience with web-application development is an asset: Progressive web application, HTML5 webcomponents (Lit element), Java REST microservice
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (Openshift cloud environment, Docker) and testng frameworks (Junit, Selenium) is an advantage.
- You are a teamplayer, are eager to learn and have a problem solving mindset.
- You are flexibel to travel according to business needs (limited)
