Your Profile

- Bachelor or Master student in engineering, purchasing, supply chain
- Interested by business analysis (understanding the business needs and defining the right methodologies)
- Interested in the new technologies (eg blockchain, cloud operations,…)
- Highly developed analytical skills, accuracy and reliability
- team worker, good listener, well organized, autonomous, self-starter
- project management skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools

Your team and your responsibilities

Team/division description
Within Purchasing, you will be located in the Business Planning and Systems team. This position will allow you to have an insight in the supply chain of automotive business, the purchasing systems, corporate social responsibility (CSR) topics, purchasing training management and will enable you to get a better understanding of how a leading multinational operates and interacts with numerous internal and external parties.

Your project
For the Tier 1 and Tier 2 purchasing suppliers, a supplier mapping needs to be executed, as has been achieved by the colleagues from Toyota Motor in North America. This is particularly important and relevant for Risk Management & CSR activities.
You will need to clarify the business requirements and the business flows with the various stakeholders, including the Risk Management Team and the colleagues in the US, to be able to define the information that needs to be included in the mapping.
The aim is to come to a user-friendly, efficient and economic mapping solution.
You will collaborate with a counterpart in IS who will study the technologies available that could be developed for the future data input by the suppliers.

Starting date: May 2021

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
