Entity and activity description

You will be part of the Benelux Industrial Merchant entity based on Brussels, in charge of producing & delivering industrial gases to customers in a wide range of industries, such as Manufacturing, Food & Pharma, Research & Analysis as well as Entrepreneurs & Professionals.

The team in which you will work consists of about 40 people, located in various cities in Belgium and in the Netherlands. 

They are in charge of the Customer Services activities for the 3 regions of the Benelux.

Next to that, the team is also responsible for the transversal Customer Experience throughout all customer touchpoints of “Industrial Merchant”, be it through contacts with people in various teams such as Customer Services, Sales, Dispatch or Maintenance engineers; as well as contacts through digitized touchpoints such as our e-invoice, our Customer & Partner portal MyGas and its mobile application.

Missions and Responsibilities

The mission of the Junior Customer Experience Process & Project Officer is to establish new processes & work instructions and improve upon the existing ones within the Customer Service Centre (CSC) and Customer Experience (CX) scope in a spirit of simplification & digitization. He/She will also be responsible for leading and participating in several internal & transversal projects, again in this same spirit of simplification & digitization. This will be done with the following objectives:

  • Mapping of existing processes & work instructions and gap analysis vs. desired state
  • Based on the above, establish new processes & work instructions as well as improving the existing ones in order to deliver a superior customer experience, ease of use and efficiency.
  • Contribute to building a Knowledge Base, that will be used cross-functionally in order to enhance employee- (for instance, by facilitating training of our team members) and customer experience (for instance, by extending 24/7 self-service capabilities)
  • Participate in and lead internal & transversal projects, in order to deliver them on time/on budget/with the expected quality & outcome Formalises the necessary project documentation (Scope, planning, budget,...)Coordinates the work of the project team membersOrganizes regular project steering committees to validate Gate passages and communicates project progress to the various stakeholdersFollow–up of management of change

    Position based in Brussels, Belgium, for a total period of 24 months, non-extendable.
