We are looking for a Student in Human Resources to support our Human Resources regional strategy for the North Western Europe (NWE) region (UK, Ireland, Benelux & Nordics). The job entails working closely with the HR Business Partners & Talent acquisition partners of this region. This is a temporary, part-time position or full time, you will report to the NWE Human Resources Director & collaborating in day to day basis with the HR teams. The position is based in Netherlands- Eindhoven office, or in Belgium – Brussels office.

A Day in the Life

You will be exposed to a world-wide company with a structured HR model & having a startup mindset where innovation & new ways of working are welcome & valued as you will work on topics that we start from scratch!

We offer you a position where you will master your skills in project management including launch & roll-out /digital communication/cross functions/cross-country collaboration/ external partners relationship (Schools, Uni, Top Employer..). You will be exposed to managers & help to build a new service model.

Main job duties

Early Career- is a strategic worldwide HR pilar where we are looking for the best talents and propose an unforgettable experience:

  • Support the execution of campus programs- it may not be in your located country
  • Create a manager tool kit per country on “how to hire an intern?”
  • Build a targeted schools list including alumni associations & list key events
  • Support virtual or in person school career fairs
  • Offer Peer-advisor mentoring for the campus interns
  • Create a top campus talent visibility system to help conversion
  • Support Talent Acquisition in EC hiring programs & processes
  • Employer Branding

  • Support EB project team in gathering materials for Top Employer certification available
  • Propose & drive SMART (smart, measurable, achievable, realistic & timely) goals to completion in partnership with HR colleagues
  • Research & collate materials for best practice for usage in EC /employer branding strategy initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with Employer Branding project team & prepare digital campaigns on LinkedIn/ careers site/facebook etc + communication strategy internally & externally
  • Learn to use Medtronic tools & systems to support initiative roll-out
  • Have completed at least the first year of your Bachelor’s (or Masters degree) in Human Resources or Business Administration, or Business or Communications(Social Media)
  • Soft kills: proactivity, agility, innovation, commitment, autonomy & strong interpersonal skills, tenacity, results driven with strong organizational skills
  • Hard skills: you will learn with us & have an opportunity to work with leading HR experts in their field while also building your own network across the wider region! if you have ever lead a project team it is a +
  • Fluent in English + an other language is preferable
  • Practical Conditions Regarding the Job

  • We are looking for a start date as soon as possible- September/October will be perfect- for 6 or 12 months based on your study
