Beschrijving

Overall

  • Own LDO Operational health KPIs (Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4) and drive performance improvement.

  • Lead change management on key CI initiatives and projects (Tier 3, Tier 4).

  • Lead LDO representation on quality audits (Internal/ External).

Logistics Centre Zaventem (LCZ) Operations

  • Lead Logistics Delivery Operations (LDO) team in Tier 3 (management level daily whiteboards), own actions, drive resolutions and escalate where necessary.

  • Represent LDO in Tier 4 Operational whiteboards , as and when needed.

  • Represent Pfizer in EMEA regional industry forums concerning pharmaceutical and healthcare logistics.

  • Drive direct engagement with Airlines and Ocean liners (where required) and bring in meaningful insights to drive strategic projects.

  • Ensure that standard work is documented, followed and current version is maintained

Outbound Logistics Network Operations

  • Operationally support the site transportation management of the sites under his/her responsibility

  • Own and lead Tier 3 (and possibly Tier 4) Continuous improvement initiatives (Change Ambassador)

  • Role has direct responsibility for Control Tower operational support of in transit incidents, and intervention. This includes non-standard business hour support as required (weekend on-call system for specific weekends).

  • Real time shipment intervention and ensuring follow up actions with transportation suppliers are actioned against predefined playbooks and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Own the transportation budget (and Budget Vs Actuals) of the sites under his/her responsibility

  • This is an individual contributor role with a functional lead responsibility.

  • Location : Zaventem (Belgium).


Your skills

  • Education: Master or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Management), Supply Chain or Logistics is required or any appropriate work experience.

  • Experience: 10 years Pharmaceutical and/or high-volume Consumer Goods industry experience or experience with a global logistics services provider.

  • Strong analytical skills - Ability to work with a lot of variables and data and synthesize to drive management decision making

  • Project Management experience/skills, change management skills, Vendor management skills, People skills to work cross functionally

  • Good computer literacy (MS office, Transportation Management / Optimization Tools, SAP MM/SD modules, etc.)

  • Ability to handle situations of high pressure (critical shipments) and quick decision making

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in teams; including leading multi-functional and geographically dispersed project teams

  • Languages: English (Business Proficient). Other European language skills are nice to have.
