Beschrijving

The Junior Sales Manager is responsible for the development of the local market and the generation of new business by initiating and independently carrying out sales activities. He/she also maintains a good relationship with existing national customers and knows - where possible - to expand his/her customer portfolio.

In this role, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining good relations with existing national customers and initiating contacts with national prospects.
  • Managing a network of potential customers based on available and own market research
  • Identify business opportunities with existing customers and prospects to maximize sales (up-selling/cross-selling).
  • Mapping out the prospect's wishes, translating these into internal services and making offers that you follow up and turn into orders.
  • Conducting contract negotiations with the National Sales Manager and Team to conclude contracts.
  • Visiting existing customers (anticipating their needs) and surveying customer satisfaction (customer care), so that you can offer the right solution with the right added value.
  • Registering and drafting visitor reports after customer visits and indicating which priorities or solutions can be defined for each customer.
  • Briefing and reporting directly to the National Sales Manager / General Manager concerning the findings and achievements of the customer/prospect visits on the one hand and the progress of current projects on the other.
  • Following up of the prices and traffic based on the analysis of our customer base but also through different (media) channels.
  • Monitoring our competitive position and determining new trends in the Automotive / Transport market on the basis of regular market analysis and anticipating accordingly.
  • As national Hödlmayr ambassador, you put Hödlmayr further on the map, and succeed in increasing the name/ brand awareness of (potential) customers working diligently to create brand loyalty
  • Implementation, follow-up and steering of new national commercial projects from A to Z.
  • Preparation, execution, analysis and registration of tenders (price determination, offers, contracts,...)
  • Administrative treatment and follow-up
  • You are in close contact and work together with the internal stakeholders.

YOU have the following competences:

  • Strong commercial skills and a natural commercial attitude
  • The ability to plan, organize and prioritize effectively to ensure that the set objectives are achieved
  • Great resilience and a positive mindset
  • A real team-player mentality
  • Knowledge of - and feeling with - the Automotive-Transport sector & Bodywork
  • Fluency in Dutch, French & English language (German is a plus)
  • Sense of responsibility & goal orientation
  • Technical affinity, preferably in the Automotive-Transport/Logistics sector and more specifically "Bodywork".
  • Insight into applicable sectoral cost prices / KPIs
  • Knowledge of MS Office
