The intern will be working within the Credit Risk Policy team of ING Belgium, responsible for ensuring that

the bank's policies and procedures are in line with both regulatory and ING Group requirements. They will

work directly with the team member responsible for Personal Lending and DTAI alignment topics.

The main task will be to assist with the alignment between the different policies with regard to DTAI and integration of DSTI as hard backstop.

These underwriting criteria are intended to be used by both business & risk analysts to inform lending and align with regulation and group policy.

The intern will be responsible for providing the content for these chapters - both through research and by discussing with internal experts - and aligning these with the stakeholders who will use them.

Next to this primary task, the intern will also be expected to provide content/research assistance on other

personal lending initiatives, including ad hoc requirements. This will also provide them with exposure and learning opportunities on how banks integrate underwriting criteria into their risk appetite.

The intern will be expected to deliver high quality content that is useful in day to day work, to manage

expectations from the relevant risk/business stakeholders, and display a high level of flexibility in responding to potential ad hoc tasks.

They will be supported by the internship manager (working full time on personal lending), who will provide

onboarding, guidance on how to proceed, and coaching on how to deal with any issues that arise.
