Job Description

For our service offering GIS, Capgemini is urgently looking for an experienced GIS and asset management software engineer/ developer/ analyst.

You  will support our utility and telecom customers in analyzing, designing,  implementing and testing enterprise GIS solutions integrated with ERP and asset management solutions.

In collaboration with your Project Manager , you will be responsible for the quality of the solution that you develop.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 5 years experience in software consulting business with 3 years experience  in GIS or CAD software;
• Knowledge of at least one of the leading technology suites: ESRI ArcGIS, Intergraph G/ Technology, Small World;
• Knowledge of utilities / asset management solutions of ESRI, Intergraph or Small World;
• Experience with information and data modeling: class diagrams, state transitions, ERD, topology modeling;
• Experience with solution shaping, planning and estimating;
• Capability to talk “business”, ”think process”, analyze  functional requirements;
• Preferably experience with GIS implementation in larger organization, either public or utilities;
• Innovative spirit; hands-on exposure to new technologies and trends: OGC standards, WMS/WFS; Google maps; mobile applications; personal navigation;
• Capability to participate in pre-sales activities;
• Well developed presentation skills;
• Fluent oral communication skills in French, Dutch and English;
• Fluent writing in mother tongue (Dutch or French)  AND English;
• Clear but not exclusive career choice for GIS and/or asset management systems;
• Capacity to grow rapidly;
• Flexibility in assignments / working for different clients;
• Team player with good fit in existing GIS team;
• Geographic mobility, ready to accept assignments in surrounding countries (FR,UK, NL).
