Senior Accountant in Mechelen

The SENIOR ACCOUNTANT will be responsible for:

• Balance sheet and profit and loss accounts consolidation and reconciliation

• Supporting accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

• Supporting the preparation of VAT/CIT declarations and statistical reporting for 10 countries

• Providing reports/analysis on a monthly base for other departments

• Providing support during internal and external audits

• Processing accounts payable, bank statements and payments

• Managing vendor accounts

• You will provide mentorship and support to junior accountants

Profile of ideal SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

• Has a Bachelor in Accountancy or Finance

• Has minimum 3 years experience in general accounting

• Has a good knowledge of VAT principles

• Speaks fluently English

• Has good communication skills and is result driven

• Good knowledge of MS Office and knowledge of ERP software is a plus
