FUNCTION:

50 Unilin Colleagues of our marketing and IT department are working in our Co-creation Hub ‘Hangar K’ together with colleagues from other innovative organizations to set up projects about digitalization.

In this broad and challenging role of Young Graduate Scrum master, you work in an agile and multidisciplinary team on the realization of our digital business transformation. You are the ambassador of the scrum method and makes sure everybody works according this method. Your assignments will be the following:

• You will participate in building and enhancing the digital product (customer care platform, commerce website, websites, sales applications…) and will support the team that works according to the scrum framework.
• You will facilitate workshops and meetings in an agile way. As a scrum master you take responsibility to organize scrum events for the team.  You will also coach the team in new agile practices and assist them in preparing and facilitating workshops.
• The scrum master will protect and unblock the team for unplanned work and impediments. On the other hand he/she will challenge the team to grow to be more self-organized and independent. Review and report on team performance is part of the scrum master's tasks. 
• You are the trust-person of the scrum teams. You will have to listen carefully to each individual and coach them.
• The scrum master will have an important bridge function between the teams and the broader organization through cross team alignment with scrum masters from other teams and the agile coach. The scrum master will also collaborate closely with the product owners to prepare the backlogs.

After all we are looking for a Scrum ambassador! Be a believer of scrum methodologies and our agile approach. Support and challenge your colleagues to further introduce scrum at UNILIN together with the product owner and scrum team.

Together with our current Scrum ambassador you will learn about  the scrum method. How it works, how we use it, what your role is  …  You will be coached and trained to become an Excellent Scrum ambassador!

PROFILE:

• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A strong interest in human capital is a plus.
• Asking critical questions to challenge the team is key.
• You’re interested or have experience in the agile approach and scrum framework.
• You dare to facilitate meetings.
• You’re a creative thinker, eager to self-learn and have an affinity with technology.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English.
