Junior Process Engineer

For our department in Wetteren, Bekintex NV, we are looking for a Process Engineer.

Your role
As a Process Engineer you contribute to the improvement and further development of the existing production processes in Bekintex. You also manage the release of new products & processes, and provide technical assistance to the different production platforms in the plant. 

•    You improve existing production processes and design/adapt machines with respect to quality, cost, ecology, health and safety.
•    You provide technical assistance in quality and operational issues.
•    You release new processes in production.
•    You drive process improvements towards subcontractors and suppliers. 
•    You coach and transfer technical expertise to team members.
•    You explore, propose and implement new technologies (also outside Bekaert) for the processes.

Your profile 

•    You hold a master degree in engineering and you graduated recently.
•    You are excellent with numbers & plans (drawings) and have affinity with practical mechanical/electrical implementations. You are an expert in the technical/functional area and use other expert resources when appropriate. 
•    You have strong analytical skills and it gives you energy to approach and solve problems in an accurate and systematic way.
•    You have very strong people and coaching skills for transferring technical expertise to team members.
•    You have strong communication skills and foster open communication.
•    You are a real team player and have a passion to build strong relationships between the different parties you cooperate with.
•    You are a highly innovative person and like to generate new ideas and take initiative. 
•    You have a strong drive for result and are highly committed to pursue goals and work hard to achieve them.
•    You are committed to safety and lead by example.
