Junior Legal Management Assistant in Brussels

Beschrijving

As Junior Legal Management Assistant, you are the lawyers' first support for a wide variety of administrative & legal queries and requests :

  • Managing the lawyers' calendars (scheduling appointments and conference calls, booking & preparing the meeting rooms, organising travels in Belgium or abroad with flight booking, hotel reservations, ...)
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the lawyers : managing all incoming mails and telephone calls (from counsel, court, clients, lawyers, other departments, ...)
  • Manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence
  • Helping the lawyers in the preparation of their legal documents, virtual correspondence, reports (Word, Excel) or corporate presentations for meetings and seminars (PowerPoint)
  • Upon request : delivering some legal researches
  • Preparing and submitting the lawyers' expense notes
  • Processing incoming invoices and liaising with the accounting department
  • Any other legal or admin support required by the lawyers

The successful Junior Legal Management Assistant is/have :

  • A Bachelor Diploma in Office Management, Translation, Languages, Legal Administration or any other relevant field
  • Excellent knowledge of French & English (C1 level min.), Good knowledge of Dutch (B2 level min.)
  • A first experience as management assistant or in administration is a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • You are flexible and able to build relationships with various stakeholders
  • You are accurate and details-oriented
  • You are dynamic and willing to take initiative
  • You have very good organisational skills
