As a VAT accountant you perform transactions in the field of VAT and Intrastat with the aim of optimising the processes and service provision internally. You ensure that internal procedures are complied with within the correct deadlines. You are responsible for internal & external reporting in accordance with the legal requirements and carry out internal & SOX controls in order to guarantee the completeness, accuracy and security of the most important financial data and accounting transactions. You monitor compliance with SLAs and actively contribute to process improvements within your field of expertise.
Profiel
The company is looking for an employee with a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or affinity with VAT. You have an excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of SAP is an asset. Excel has no secrets for you. You work in an organised and structured manner and you can easily set priorities.
