For a regular customer in the summer, we are looking for students who want to come and help pick fruit. We are now looking specifically for picking pears.
As a fruit picker you have a basket on your stomach where you put the picked fruit, as soon as this basket is full you empty the basket into a box.
This work can be very heavy and must be done accurately, damaged fruit cannot be sold.
The work starts at 7.30 in the morning, after every 2 hours of work you have a 30-minute break. The working day is 8 hours.
Transport is provided from our office at 't Eilandje in Antwerp, departure time: 6.15 am. You will be back in Antwerp around 6 pm.
