Your role & work environment

You will carry out day to day Ops activities of maintenance and incident resolution of Archiving  applications. You will support Disaster Recovery, Patching, release deployment, IT audits, Security tests and IT risk governance related activities.

You will be Working in BE Document and Content Services Tribe, and more precisely in the Squad responsible for the legal archiving of documents. You will be supported by existing Dev and Ops engineers.


Incident and Problem management, Change and Release Management process,

  • Guarantee the continuity of the running applications implementing and using monitoring and reporting tool,
  • Analyze Incidents, Problems and resolution using Snow,
  • Interact with different teams to get the issues resolved,
  • Be part of an on-call support,
  • Prepare and perform the roll-out of the Changes through the different environments.

Maintain Cloud infrastructure

  • Support with Disaster recovery exercise, Patching, LifeCycle management and Release deployment activities etc,
  • Ensure IT Security Minimum Standards (Identity & Access management, Security Monitoring, Operational Resilience, …),
  • Using and enhancing continuous integration and continuous deployment processes (CICD Process) using Azure DevOps.

IT risk governance

  • Support on IT audits, Security tests and IT risk governance,
  • Maintenance of Risk documentation.

As an OPS engineer you will also need:

  • Graduate/Post graduate in IT with min 5 years of experience,
  • Good understanding of Cloud concepts, applications leveraging Java, C++, Oracle, ELK technology,
  • Experience in Networking concepts: Firewalls, Port, …,
  • Experienced in Agile and Continuous Delivery practices,
  • Experienced in automating activities (deployments, reports, …),
  • Having a sense of ownership and responsibility for the applications of your squad,
  • Embracing new evolutions and challenges,
  • Being Pro-active, assertive and a good communicator,
  • Fluent in English. French/Dutch is a nice to have
