Harbour Plus specialises in Supply Chain, Customs, Shipping and forwarding plus SHEQ. As we only work within these business units, we've obtained the experience to assist our clients in search of the perfect employee, while prioritising a personal approach!

As a Customer Service Agent, you are responsible for the end-to-end operational follow-up of logistics processes.You make sure that orders are correctly processed and followed up, and that all information needed for inbound and outbound flows in the warehouse is accurate and up to date. You also coordinate pre- and on-carriage transport, so that goods move smoothly through the supply chain. In this role, you are the link between the customer and internal departments such as warehouse, transport and customs. You ensure that operations run according to agreed processes and customer requirements. Next to the operational flow, you also take care of administrative accuracy, invoicing follow-up, claims handling and problem solving when issues occur.


  • Managing inbound and outbound logistics flows in the warehouse;
  • Organising and following up pre- and on-carriage transport;
  • Administrative processing of logistics files for assigned customers;
  • Checking and following up data for invoicing;
  • Handling and following up damage claims and operational deviations;
  • Solving operational issues in cooperation with internal departments;
  • Acting as operational contact between customer and internal teams (warehouse, customs, transport, …);
  • Following established processes and customer-specific work instructions;
  • Identifying bottlenecks and proactively proposing solutions with stakeholders;
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of processes.

  • You have initial work experience in an administrative or customer-facing role. Knowledge or background within the logistics sector is a plus;
  • You are customer-oriented and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.;
  • You have a strong knowledge of Dutch and English.
