As Expansion Controller you will be responsible to analyse, steer and follow-up the department’s results and execution towards the expansion’s overall short- and long-term goals for profitable growth within new and existing stores. You will have a special focus on leasing, construction and facility controlling.
Main tasks (list non-exhaustive)
Strategy Evaluation and Goal/ Target setting· Based on strategy, goals and evaluation of historical performance, support setting short- and long-term goals and targets for the leasing, construction and facility department
· Assist your manager in yearly budgeting and time planning
· Proactively perform and support key analyses on major KPIs to ensure that budgets are realistic and targets are reached
· Monitor, follow up and analyze department performances in goals and budget
· Establish cooperation and controlling routines with other departments
· Perform annual risk assessment for financial risks, including annual check of all main contractors’ financial stability to manage risks
· Drive tool and best practice development locally and globally to secure constant improvements
· Identify opportunities and constantly challenge current ways of working
· Be the owner of important tools and reports and make sure they are updated and data corrected on a regular basis
· Support your manager to establish processes and KPIs to ensure contractual compliance and develop qualitative tendering processes
· Have a strong collaboration with the expansion manager, construction manager and facility manager but also your counterparts in the Swedish head office
· Together with department heads, manage and motivate the departments towards the goals

· Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

· Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills
· Flexible and adaptable to change according to changing business needs
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French and/or Flemish is a plus
