Job Offer: Graphic and Motion Design Support

We are seeking a talented individual to provide graphic design and motion design support for DG REGIO communication activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, producing, and animating visual materials for digital and print communication while ensuring visual consistency with the European Commission corporate identity and DG REGIO communication guidelines.

• Design, produce, and animate visual assets for internal and external communication.
• Create layouts and visuals for brochures, reports, factsheets, posters, roll-ups, and other printed materials.
• Produce graphics and multimedia content for digital communication, including websites, social media, newsletters, presentations, banners, infographics, and animated visuals.
• Adapt existing templates, visuals, and animations to new formats, campaigns, and communication needs.
• Prepare print-ready, web-optimized, and video-ready files in accordance with technical specifications.
• Ensure high-quality standards and respect deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistency with the European Commission's visual identity and DG REGIO branding.
• Apply corporate visual guidelines and accessibility recommendations across static and animated communication products.
• Maintain consistency across print, digital, and multimedia communication channels.
• Update and manage graphic, presentation, and animation templates when required.
• Advise internal teams on graphic design, motion design, and visual communication best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience in graphic design, motion design, and visual communication.
• Proficiency in design software and multimedia tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of European Commission corporate identity guidelines is a plus.

Expertise Required:

• Excellent graphic design, motion design, visual communication and layout skills;
• Excellent command of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects, knowledge of Premiere Pro is considered as an asset;
• Experience in creating communication materials for print, digital and social media, including motion graphics and animations;
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, composition and visual hierarchy;
• Ability to create engaging infographics, data visualizations and information design products;
• Knowledge of accessibility principles and corporate visual identity guidelines;
• Strong conceptual, creative and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Proficiency in designing and producing visual materials for both digital and print communication channels.
• Experience in supporting the development of communication campaigns and information products related to EU cohesion policy.
• Ability to ensure visual coherence, clarity, and accessibility across various communication tools and formats.
• Demonstrated contribution to the continuous improvement of visual standards and design processes within DG REGIO.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with communication officers, project managers, and external contractors.
