Context

DPAM Fixed income is looking for a candidate for an internship within the fixed income portfolio management team to assist the emerging markets portfolio managers. DPAM L bonds emerging markets sustainable is one of the biggest local markets sovereign bond funds globally and has an excellent track record.

This internship is a great opportunity for candidates wishing to pursue a career in fixed income portfolio management. Candidates will work in close collaboration with experienced portfolio managers that have a long career in fixed income markets and portfolio management.

Your position

• The ideal candidate has an interest in bond markets, fixed income, portfolio management and has the capability to conduct in debt analysis of macro-economic data.
• Analysis of macro-economic data of emerging economies
• Enhance existing country monitoring/reporting tools/marketing material
• Assist portfolio managers with the preparation of investor calls
• Assist in answering questions from investors and salespeople
• Preparation of (internal) meetings on the outlook of the asset class
• Analysis on ESG related topics

Your profile

• Excellent communication skills in writing, fluent in English
• Excellent analytical skills
• Familiarity with financial markets and understanding of financial risks
• Attention to detail in preparing data related to the fund, markets and macro-economic variables
• Well-developed organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint, Power BI
• Team player
