Description

We are looking for a graduating intern to design and build an AI powered governance agent for Microsoft Power Platform. The solution will analyze Dataverse solutions, tables, columns, relationships, flows, and apps to validate naming conventions, solution design standards, ALM best practices, and

architecture guidelines.

Using Copilot Studio, Dataverse APIs, and Power Platform metadata, the agent will identify issues, generate recommendations, and provide remediation guidance. The solution can be extended with automated enforcement, reporting dashboards, and broader governance capabilities.

This assignment provides an opportunity to work on a real world problem in the Microsoft business applications space, combining AI, automation, and solution governance.

Qualifications

Skills and background

We are looking for students who are curious, analytical, and motivated to learn..

You should have:
• Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related degree program
• Programming fundamentals in C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Familiarity with REST APIs and software development principles
• Interest in Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or enterprise business applications
• Strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills

It would be a plus to have:
• Exposure to Power Platform, Dataverse, Power Automate, or Copilot Studio
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps
• Understanding of solution design, governance, or ALM concepts
• Interest in AI assisted workflows and business process automation

Pitch

Join Avanade's Business Applications (BizApps) team, a Microsoft Gold Partner, where we design and deliver modern, AI enabled solutions for enterprise clients. In this internship, you will work alongside experienced professionals on a real customer focused scenario that brings together Microsoft Power Platform, governance, and AI.

You will contribute to the analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of an AI powered Power Platform Solution Governance. The goal is to help teams review platform artifacts, identify governance issues, and improve solution quality through automation and AI assisted guidance.

This internship is a hands-on opportunity to learn how business applications are designed and delivered in practice, while contributing to meaningful work with real impact.

At this time, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium and be eligible to join us for the internship period, with the potential to continue with Avanade in a future role after graduation.
