Job Description
Eurofins' ComLIMS-B2I Team is an internal team of the Eurofins Group based in Brussels and India. The team’s primary mission is to provide Business Intelligence and Data Management solutions to its end-users worldwide.
We are looking for a talented Software Developer Intern to join our driven, highly skilled and diverse team of developers within the B2I Team for 6 to 12 months in Brussels.
Start date: Between June – September 2021
Duration: 6 to 12 months
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Type of contract: Full-Time (38 hrs/wk)
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the evolution of our Business Intelligence & Data Management solutions; Work in close coordination with both the Business Analyst Team in Brussels and Development Team in India to ensure development runs smoothly; Participate in cross-functional projects, such as DataAlerts, CLPA report creation via Power BI server, etc.; Ensure end-user requirements, and the quality and timing of deliverables are respected;
Think outside the box and innovate to bring strong added value to our projects. What We Offer:

Qualifications
Currently enrolled or recent graduate in a Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering or Science; Previous experience coding via C# and SQL/DB concepts; Good understanding of OOPS concepts and SDLC methodologies; Knowledge of unit testing & CI/CD deployment (via TFS/ALM/Git or Octopus tools); Knowledge of Service-Oriented-Architecture is a plus; Knowledge of SQL and MS SQL Reporting Services (SSIS, SSRS) is a plus; Understanding of UML is an asset; Strong interest in software development & basic understanding of Agile and Scrum is an asset; Familiarity with Data warehouse concepts is an advantage; Knowledge on development of Business Intelligence / Reporting / ETL / KPI activities with Reporting Service/Integration Service experts is an advantage; Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and detail-orientated skills; Proactive and adaptable personality with a keen analytical mindset; Able to contribute to the delivery of high-quality software by oneself and together with a team, incl. design, code, testing, and documentation; Fluent English communication skills (written/oral). Knowledge of another language is a plus.
